Ruth is a seasoned clinician with extensive experience in the family violence sector. Over the years, she has demonstrated a profound commitment to addressing the complex needs of individuals affected by family violence, offering empathetic and skillful support.

She has a particular interest in working with clients who have trauma backgrounds. Her focused interest in trauma aligns with her understanding of its prevalence in various mental health conditions, forming a solid foundation for her work.

While Ruth has a particular passion for trauma, her capabilities extend across a spectrum of mental health conditions. She is adept at addressing issues related to anxiety, depression, psychosis, personality disorders, and developmental disorders. This versatility showcases her comprehensive understanding of mental health and her ability to adapt her approach to diverse client needs.

Ruth employs a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities to meet the unique needs of her clients. Her toolkit includes CBT, ACT, CP, TF-CBT, Mindfulness and Schema Therapy

Ruth believes in a client-centered approach, recognizing the uniqueness of each individual’s journey. Her therapeutic philosophy emphasizes empowerment, resilience, and fostering a collaborative relationship with her clients.

Ruth is well-equipped to support clients funded by TAC, VOCAT, WorkCover, DVA, or CISP as well and Medicare and private fee-paying.
