Meet our Therapy dog!
Sigmund (Siggy) is the four-legged member of our team, currently undergoing training to become a therapy dog! His role is to assist our psychologists and counsellors in their work with clients, offering a source of comfort and companionship.
Siggy’s affection knows no bounds, and he has a special fondness for children and young people. For clients who may be visiting our clinic for the first time, Siggy provides a soothing presence to ease any anxieties.
When Katy, his handler, is in the office, you’ll have the opportunity to meet and spend time with Siggy. If you would like him around during your visit, simply ask reception, and we will make it happen!
Siggy is not only a therapy dog in training but also a social butterfly. If you have your own support dog and wish to bring them to your session, rest assured that we extend a warm welcome to furry friends at Elysium Psychology. We understand the special bond between humans and their dogs, and we cherish the presence of our canine companions.
