Our Team

Our clinical team consists of Psychologists, Psychologists with Provisional Registration (Prov.) and ACA Accredited Counsellors.

At Elysium Psychology, all Psychologists with Provisional Registration (Prov.) are registered psychologists with AHPRA. They have completed a minimum of four years higher education majoring in Psychology, most have completed a Masters and some even have a PhD in Psychology or related fields. They meet regularly for clinical supervision and mentoring with two senior psychologists who are approved by the Psychology Board of Australia, and they undertake continued professional development to further develop their skills and to maintain, improve and broaden their knowledge, expertise and competence. Treatment by a Psychologist (Prov.) follows the same scientist-practitioner principles as a Psychologist. They are competent in assessment, diagnosis, formulation and treatment of a wide range of mental health issues.

Our ACA Accredited Counsellors have completed a minimum of 3 years of education majoring in counselling skills and theory. They are registered with the Australian Counselling Association and provide counselling on issues associated with grief and loss, relationships issues and mental health. They use techniques from the following modalities; narrative, solution-focussed, person centred and cognitive behavioural therapy.

Our clinical team

Ms. Katy Dib- Principal Psychologist/ Director

BA Psych&Sociology, GD Psychotherapy, PDG Psych. MAAPi

Katy (she/ her) has been registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency- Psychology Board since 2007 as a Generalist Psychologist and Board Approved Supervisor.

She has delivered therapeutic services, across a variety of organisations and industries including; housing and homelessness, alcohol and other drugs, immigration detention, community health, occupational rehabilitation, higher education and private practice.

Katy is an accredited trainer with a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and has many years experience delivering training. 

Katy individually supervises our Psychologists with Provisional Registration and facilitates group supervision for the whole Elysium clinical team. Her skills and experience influence the work of all our whole team.

Miss Aish Nair – Psychologist

M.A. Applied Psychology with Specialisation in Counselling, M.ProfPsych

Aish (She/her) has experience working with people across the lifespan and from diverse backgrounds, presenting with issues such as depression, anxiety, relationship concerns, trauma and personality disorders. She has extensive experience working with young people, particularly those with complex needs.

She is particularly interested in trauma-based work. She uses CBT, DBT, ACT and Mindfulness-based practices. She builds honest, open and empathetic relationships with her clients. She has a commitment to collaborating with clients in a non-judgmental way to help them build a life worth living.

In her downtime, you’ll probably catch her listening to a lot of music or watching true crime documentaries.

Ms Ruth Bignell – Psychologist (Prov.)

Ruth (she/her) is a warm, mature, down to earth professional who seeks to understand and connect with other people in her therapeutic practice. Ruth strives to provide psychological services that are respectful, helpful, authentic, and client-centred.

Ruth has worked extensively alongside people and communities who have experienced trauma, including those who are victim/survivors of family violence. She welcomes clients whose needs are complex, and very much enjoys working with children and adolescents as well as adult clients.

Mr Daniel Paglialonga – Psychologist (Prov.)

Daniel (he/him) believes the relationship between himself and his clients is the most important aspect to facilitate growth and change via a warm and empathetic collaboration.

Daniel has experience working with young adolescents through to older adults across diverse cultural backgrounds and presentations. He tailors interventions based on individual client needs, drawing from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Schema Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing

Dr Katrina McKie – Psychologist (Prov.)

Katrina (she/her) has a compassionate, warm and collaborative interpersonal style.

Katrina enjoys working with children, adolescents and adults and places high importance on developing a good rapport with her clients. Her special interests include neuro-developmental disorders, empowering parents, work-related issues, and women’s mental health.

Katrina balances her therapeutic work at Elysium Psychology with her work in psychology higher education, where she has taught and supervised university students for over a decade across a broad range of psychology topics.

Katrina has published peer-reviewed journal articles, presented at conferences and received scholarships. She enjoys spending her free time with her family, friends, pets, exploring craft markets, op shops and up-cycling furniture.

Miss. Laurie McKenna – Psychologist (Prov.)

BAPsych&Spanish, PGD Psychology, MSc in Applied Forensic Psychology

Laurie (She/Her) has a friendly, compassionate, and open-minded manner when engaging with clients. Her focus is on building trust, rapport, and an environment where clients feel safe to disclose. She has experience working and advocating for those with complex needs and disadvantaged backgrounds. 

Laurie takes care to work with a trauma-informed approach and likes to apply strategies used in practices such as Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Schema Therapy and Mindfulness. Laurie is interested in working with clients who present with a range of mood and anxiety disorders, self-esteem issues, trauma, and addiction.

Laurie works at our Greensborough office and via telehealth.

Miss. Elleen Chang – Psychologist (Prov.)

Elleen (she/her) is a friendly, warm and easy going psychologist (prov). She aims to build a strong therapeutic relationship with her clients through employing her core principles of empathy, patience and respect. 

Elleen has experience working with people from diverse backgrounds and age groups. She is also committed to working with a broad spectrum of mental health issues to help clients to achieve their goals by using person centred approach and holistic approach.

Elleen can deliver treatment in English and Mandarin.

Miss. Emily Dyer – Psychologist (Prov.)

Emily (she/her) is a bubbly, warm and compassionate Provisional Psychologist. Emily enjoys working with people of all ages and backgrounds, including those within the LGBTIQA+ community. She has experience helping people with depression, anxiety and stress. Emily has a particular interest in sleep and memory, exercise and sports psychology. She is also capable of undertaking cognitive assessments to inform diagnosis. Emily enjoys working with a range of clients, including aiding children, adolescents and adults. Her professional philosophy includes building a holistic lifestyle, that incorporates balance. She prides herself on creating a collaborative space for clients to feel safe and comfortable. She enjoys personalising her sessions to each client and building a therapeutic relationship.

Miss. Vanessa Challinor – Psychologist (Prov.)

Vanessa (she/her pronouns) has an open minded, empathic, and warm approach. She has a passion for working collaboratively with clients to help them achieve their goals.

Vanessa has worked with clients across all ages in forensic, community and mental health settings.

She has experience with clients from diverse backgrounds with complex needs.

Miss. Aneka Srinivasan – Psychologist (Prov.)

B.Sc.Psych, GDPsych, M.ProfPsych 

Aneka (she/her) fosters an empathetic and open approach. She believes in working in a client-centred way, including working in collaboration with individuals to achieve their therapy goals and potential.

Aneka ensures clients are listened to and she provides a safe space where they can work through their limiting beliefs. Aneka’s therapy modality interests lie with Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Humanistic approaches and Solution Focused Therapy.

Mrs. Rebecca Nestor – Psychologist (Prov.)

Rebecca (she / her) is a mature and kind natured psychologist. Her warm personality invites a sense of calm to the therapeutic space. She is thoughtful in her planning of sessions and approaches each client with a unique style that suits their needs. She is experienced in treatment of children, adolescence and adult clients.

Her approach focusses on a tailored approach using strategies from Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy and Mindful-based approaches. She is trauma-informed and thorough in her assessment of the presenting problems and treatment planning.

Miss. Yixia Zheng – Psychologist (Prov.)

BScPsych, MScClinPsych, PhD Psych candidate


Yixia (she/her) has completed a Master in Clinical Psychology with honours in the Netherlands. Yixia is also completing a PhD in Psychology focusing on emotion dynamics at the University of Melbourne. Yixia has completed clinical training from the Beck Institute and Brown University in the U.S.A. Her previous work spanned both public and private mental health settings.

Yixia is particularly interested in working with adults who experience Depression, Anxiety, Personality Disorders, Psychosis, Autism Spectrum Conditions and Trauma.

Yixia can deliver therapy in English, Mandarin and Dutch.

Mr. Tristan Chooi – Psychologist (Prov.)


Tristan (he/ him) is a warm spirited and affable individual who embraces an acceptance and mindfulness-based philosophy in his therapy.

Tristan is experienced in aiding children with developmental disabilities and adopts a stance of compassion, patience, and empathy when working with his clients.

He is passionate about assisting individuals who seek to cope with ADHD, mood or anxiety disorders and psychotic disorders. His professional philosophy centres around building a strong therapeutic relationship with his clients to guide them towards healthier strategies to live a fulfilling and balanced life.

Tristan can deliver services in English and Mandarin.

Mrs. Natasha Caligiuri – Psychologist

Natasha (she/ her) is a friendly, down to earth psychologist, and is easy to talk to. She likes to work collaboratively with her clients to achieve their goals, and aims to focus on building a strong therapeutic relationship. Natasha enjoys working with people of all ages and backgrounds.

She has a special interest in assisting clients through depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, OCD and personality disorders. Natasha likes to use a client-centred approach and applies a variety of evidence-based interventions to facilitate positive change; such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness & Schema Therapy.

Miss. Sigrid Limburg – Psychologist

Sigrid (she/ her) is a friendly, engaging and compassionate psychologist who assists clients in a supportive and collaborative manner. Sigrid utilises a person-centred, evidence-based approach to therapy, incorporating elements of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Attachment Theory and Motivational Interviewing into her practice.

She tailors interventions to suit each clients individual needs and enjoys working with clients of various age groups.

Miss. Yukti Mehta – Psychologist

Yukti (she/her) is an experienced psychologist who is easy going and calm. She is a highly knowledgeable and capable clinician. She has extensive experience in assessments, diagnosis and treatment planning. She is also capable of undertaking cognitive assessments to inform diagnosis or support applications for DSP or NDIS.

She enjoys working with clients who present with symptoms of anxiety, depression, personality disorders, trauma and addiction. Yukti has a particular interest and experience in Eating Disorders and has completed training in CBT-E (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy- Eating Disorders).

She is an engaged and compassionate therapist.

Yukti can deliver services in English and Hindi.

Miss. Phoebe Detering – Psychologist

Phoebe Detering

Phoebe (she/her) is a warm and friendly Psychologist. She works collaboratively with her clients to achieve their goals and focuses on building a strong therapeutic relationship.

She is experienced in diverse client presentations working with clients across the lifespan. Phoebe works well with children and this is an area of special interest for her. 

She has strong assessment skills including cognitive, mood, personality and vocational assessments. As well as expertise in interventions for a wide variety of disorders and difficulties including, Anxiety, Depression, Autism, social difficulties, ADHD and addictions (Alcohol, other drugs and gambling). 

Phoebe uses a client-centered approach and applies a variety of evidence based interventions to facilitate positive change such as CBT, ACT, Mindfulness, and Schema. Her experience in the addictions space also sets her up with strong Motivational Interviewing skills to support behaviour change.

Mr. George Phlorides – Psychologist

George Phlorides

George (he/him) has a warm, relaxed and positive demeanour that supports clients to feel welcomed into a safe, non-judgemental environment. George enjoys working with people of all ages and backgrounds with an interest in helping people with depression and anxiety, relationship difficulties, work and university stress and men’s issues.

George has experience working with children, adolescents and adults across a wide range of areas.

He works within an evidence based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy framework with elements of Mindfulness, Acceptance Commitment Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. George likes to tailor his approach to individual needs and is driven to help all of his clients in the best way possible.

Miss. Laura Viana Lopez – Psychologist

Laura has a fun and playful personality.

She is easy to get along with and prides herself on best practice principles.

She is experienced in CBT, ACT, Mindfulness and Motivational Interviewing all within a trauma informed framework. She is capable and competent to work with children, young people and adults.

Laura is experienced in working with clients who are struggling with depression, anxiety, substance use issues, trauma, personality disorders or disability.

Laura can deliver services in English and Spanish.

Miss. Stephanie Fletcher – Psychologist

Stephanie (She/her) is a warm and empathic psychologist who brings an engaging and collaborative approach to therapy. She builds a therapeutic relationship based on trust, understanding and acceptance.

She is easy to talk to, calm & friendly; provides a safe space for you to be open and honest about your concerns. Stephanie has experience working with individuals & couples on the following issues: relationship issues, identity, self-esteem, couples, women’s well-being, mood disorders, anxiety, depression, career direction, grief, trauma-recovery & personality disorders.

Stephanie utilises a carefully selected integrative approach to therapy rather than adhering to one specific model. Evidence-based modalities include: Cognitive-behavioural therapy, Relational psychodynamic & attachment theory, Positive Psychology and Mindfulness-based therapy.

Mr. Manoli Lamnatos – Counsellor

BA Teaching, Grad DipCoaching&Couns., MACA,

Manoli (he/ him) is registered and accredited Counsellor with the Australian Counselling Association

His ability to actively listen in an empathic and non-judgemental manner supports his person-centred approach in building therapeutic relationships. He is capable and competent to support the mental health needs of clients who may be experiencing Anxiety or Depression.

Manoli has a particular interest in working with individuals and couples regarding relationships. He is trained in the Gottmann Method Couples Therapy.

Additionally he has an interest in supporting clients with Autism Spectrum Conditions. On top of his counselling role he is a registered teacher in a special school setting for students with Autism or Intellectual disabilities and welcomes the opportunity to work with these families during periods of transitions.

Manoli works at our Greensborough and Brunswick sites. He can also provide therapy via telehealth.

Our Business Team

Mrs. Beck Baines – Practice Manager

Beck is a kind, engaging, and empathetic practice manager who sincerely cares about our clients’ and employees’ well-being.

She has managed in the disability sector previously as a team leader/ office manager for global tourism companies.

Beck manages the Greensborough and Ascot Vale clinics’ administration and operations. She enjoys the diversity and uses her leadership, interpersonal, organisational, and administrative talents to help steer Elysium Psychology through its next stages of growth.

Miss. Britt Craven- Social Media and Marketing Assistant

BBus Marketing & Human Resource Management

Britt (she/her) is a positive and enthusiastic addition to our team. Her role at Elysium Psychology involves our social media and marketing initiatives that help to promote our clinic and provide health promotion information to the wider community.

She communicates Elysium Psychology’s values and current events to clients and psychologists to help foster a positive relationship between our company and the people we support.

Britt works at the Greensborough site and enjoys being surrounded by a group of staff that is so friendly and supportive of one another.

Client Services Specialists

Alyssa, Mel, Jessie, Rae, Racheal and Carey are our client services specialists, who help both clients and staff have a positive experience of Elysium Psychology.

They can help with appointment bookings, invoicing and general administration that may be required.

Sigmund (“Siggy”) – Therapy Dog

Siggy is our gorgeous young Labradoodle.

He is currently in training to be a therapy dog to assist our psychologists and counsellors in their work with clients.

He loves children and young people and is especially helpful for clients who may be coming to the clinic for the first time. He is onsite when his handler Katy is in the office. If you wish to have him around when you come just ask reception.

Siggy also loves new friends, so if you wish to bring your own support dog to your session you are welcome, we love dogs at Elysium Psychology.
