Deepika is an AHPRA-registered Psychologist with a Master of Rehabilitation Counselling and Mental Health from La Trobe University, an MSc in Psychology (Counselling) from Christ University, and a BA (Hons) in Psychology from Panjab University.
She brings extensive experience across clinical, educational, and community mental health settings in both India and Australia, working with children, adolescents, and adults presenting with a broad range of emotional, behavioural, developmental, and neurodiverse needs. Her practice is informed by evidence-based and integrative approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), Cognitive Analytic Therapy, and play-based interventions.
Deepika has worked across disability, autism intervention, and NDIS-funded services, providing individual therapy, behaviour support, and family-centred interventions. She has also contributed to multidisciplinary teams in clinic, school, and community environments, supporting assessment, intervention planning, and capacity building for families, educators, and support staff.
Her professional background includes roles as a Behaviour Therapist, Provisional Psychologist, Behaviour Support Practitioner, and Counselling Psychologist, alongside earlier experience in education support and youth programs. She has also coordinated teams and delivered training to parents and educators to support children with complex behavioural and emotional needs.
Deepika provides therapy in English, Punjabi, and Hindi, allowing her to support clients from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds.
